Paper & Fiber
An eclectic collection of works on paper and fiber by MANO, Aurora Molina, George Rodez and Luis Enrique Torres. The four artists delve into paths of abstraction and expressionism using multi-disciplinary techniques to create narratives of love and attachment.  MANO fills his paintings with intense color and texture, drawing on his background as an engineer he uses paper and fiber to create mutations of technology that indulge in romantic imagery. Aurora Molina’s fiber art revives the centuries-old craft of stitching and embroidery into the mainstream of contemporary art.  Her work conveys powerful metaphors of life and love that belie her  youth. Rodez’s erotic works on paper allude to sexual tension and suggestion, however the artists says that "it is purely unintentional and created from a deep unconscious level..." Torres’s work is richly saturated with organic substance and color conveying a  powerful silence that challenges the viewer to connect time and space in a perfect moment.
