Coral Gables, FL A show of artistic acumen by featured artists MANO and George Rodez. Aroma provides a smooth blend of style and color that delights the viewer's sensory palette. The exhibition includes twenty-five pieces capturing lush, vibrant, deliciously subtle and sometimes bold imagery, which embodies the essence of the tropics for both artists.
In Aroma, Rodez interprets memories of his childhood in Cuba through his unique Afro-Cuban pop style resulting in a colorful burst of energy and movement as depicted in My Grandfather’s Terrace/La Terraza de Mi Abuelo, La Guitarra/The Guitar and Dance/Baila. MANO, known for his expressionist-style, personifies the tropics by incorporating unique organic elements with the female form resulting in a creative collection of colorful and capricious portraits Giardina, Alba Con Guayaba, Mamey de Celeste and Sun Sun/Hummingbird.
miArte Gallery is located at 85 Merrick Way, one block north of Miracle Mile and west of Douglas Road. Off-street metered parking is available and a municipal covered parking garage is located directly across the street from the gallery.
